Inspired by forms and patterns in the classical Medditerannian floor tiles, the open construction of traditional ceiling beams and the simple interior decor with a mix of vibrant colors and earthy tones that are a red thread througout the apartment. The creative process in this situation starts with the materials - indentifying residues and recognising potential in what others view as waste. This opted other ways of finding solutions of design, construction and visual idientity. Within the timeline for the project the materials that were found prompted for a simple construction with standout details. The legs create an illusion of being bigger than it is - filling space in the interior, and lifting the space towards the high ceilings without taking too much psysical space.
