Sunlight is essential for our survival, yet we are mostly surrounded by artificial light. With a fascination for light and how it effects people, spaces and the environments around us, two lamps were created where the user interacts with the light to set the mood and ambience for the specific situation.

A sculptural lamp that dims or brightens when interacted with. In two sizes, as a floor lamp and a table lamp. By rotating the bottom of the floor lamp, and the top of the table lamp, the inside will increase or decrease in brightness. By pulling upwards creating a dimming effect to set the mood and atmosphere of the space as desired for that exact moment. Created in paper, concrete and wood the materials contrast eachother, while acting in harmony.
